Collection of pitcures of Centipedes, Millipedes and Woodlice found within the garden. Once I collect sufficient photos of each type I will create a page of their own for them.

Centipedes have between 7 and 80 pairs of legs with one pair per body segment. Centipedes also have claws at the head. They poison their prey in order to imobolise them. There are approx 42 species of centipede in the UK none of which are poisonous to humans.

Milipedes have two pairs of legs per body segment and upto 80 body segments. There are fiftytwo species of milipede in the UK.
